About Me


I spent many years as a self taught programmer focusing on software and game development but in 2019 I started adapting those skills to web development. I have also explored various areas of IT and programming in education all the way up to a Computing Batchelors degree.

I'm familiar with HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, Bootstrap and Node. My main skills are in front end development however I am always learning and expanding my knowledge of back end development. I also have knowlegde regarding version control with Git.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, learning new skills and playing games. I also have a house rabbit called Apollo (I keep him away from my pc cables ... aka spicy hay).

A simple ToDoList allowing the user to add, remove or complete a task! The site is made with some basic HTML, CSS and Javascript. The list is also saved to localstorage for the ability for the user to continue where they left off.

I created this weather app after being inspired by a design by Marina Pastukhova. The site uses the OpenWeather API to generate weather for the selected location. The site's intended use is on mobile however I adapted the design to allow the site to work with a desktop or tablet in a landscape setting.

Quiz App

A simple quiz application with various types of questions. It’s mainly written in JS where questions are parsed from a JSON file. In future I plan to expand this project into a quiz making tool.

E-commerce Product Gallery

Aproduct listing element where the user can select categories to change the search filter. All data is gathered from a Pocketbase database.

Social media site

A working prototype of a social media site like twitter or Facebook. It has a fully working login/register, following, posting, liking and commenting system. The site is developed using React with the data being stored/read through google firebase.

A small site showing blog posts with the ability to view the post in a full-page view. The site contains basic functionality to demonstrate my front-end ability with minor back end practices.
